Builds and automates workflows using SQL, ArcGIS Pro, R, and related tools; maintains regional database exchange structures; creates queries, reports, maps, and data summaries; supports biologists and partner organizations; responds to technical data requests; and may mentor a junior specialist. Occasional regional travel may be required.

The Category Analyst leads sales and category analytics for Costco, tracking initiative performance, regional and store-level trends, inventory, promotions, assortment, and innovation. They use syndicated and household panel data to develop actionable insights, forecasts, presentations, and recommendations for sales, marketing, supply chain, brokers, and buyers. The role also manages recurring performance reviews, data storytelling, cross-functional communication, and regional growth analyses.

Leads data warehousing process development, methodology, documentation, and standard operating procedures. Analyzes and documents program requirements, including mission objectives, resources, intelligence, operational needs, and stakeholder priorities. Evaluates workflow and production processes, providing assessments and recommendations to improve efficiency and strategy while guiding junior staff.

Provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making and long-term planning across service lines. Mine and validate multiple data sources, produce regular and ad-hoc reports, support growth initiatives and forecasting, and present actionable recommendations to leadership to improve care and operations.

Build and own Shepherd’s canonical analytical layer using dimensional modeling and dbt. Partner with actuarial, reporting, operations, engineering, and other data consumers to define trusted business entities, facts, dimensions, relationships, and rules. Establish testing, reconciliation, documentation, lineage, and adoption practices; evaluate and migrate existing models and datasets; and shape semantic context for human and AI-assisted analytics.

Develops enterprise analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including semantic models, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and complex DAX calculations. Transforms business data into actionable insights through visualization and storytelling. Supports data quality, master data management, reporting governance, documentation, and performance optimization while partnering with stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, sales, and finance.
