  • Plan, coordinate, and execute data migration efforts from legacy systems to modern database environments, ensuring data is accurately mapped, transformed, validated, and transitioned with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assess data repositories, databases, and related processes for compliance with established data governance policies, standards, and best practices, and recommend corrective actions to address gaps in governance, stewardship, and quality management.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize database queries, scripts, and data extraction routines using ANSI SQL and other applicable programming or scripting languages to support reporting, analysis, data integration, and operational requirements.
  • Conduct recurring audits of databases and data assets to verify data integrity, enforce data standards, and ensure information remains accurate, complete, reliable, and fit for business use.
  • Support the development and implementation of enterprise data solutions that improve reporting capabilities, enhance visibility into organizational performance, and promote consistent use of trusted data across the enterprise.
  • Maintain current databases, tables, views, stored procedures, and other database objects, while supporting ongoing performance, reliability, and availability of data warehouse and reporting environments.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, business users, data owners, and IT partners to identify data-related issues, define remediation strategies, and implement both manual and automated solutions to resolve data quality and process gaps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve current data management, reporting, and governance processes by recommending more efficient workflows, stronger controls, and scalable technical solutions that support long-term organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement monitoring processes, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to continuously measure, track, and improve data quality, while providing stakeholders with visibility into data health, compliance, and remediation progress.
  • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are achieved in alignment with mission requirements and program priorities.
