Lead and develop a Customer Care team for the Kitchen campaign in Chennai, driving quality, productivity, CSAT, SLA attainment, escalations resolution, coaching, training, and cross-functional process improvements for a SaaS restaurant platform.

Serves as the primary customer advisor for Toast’s retail SaaS customers, driving product activation, adoption, retention, referrals, and revenue growth. Builds customer relationships, recommends products, demonstrates POS functionality, facilitates training, troubleshoots basic issues, identifies expansion opportunities, and collaborates with Sales, Product, Operations, Care, Education, and Professional Services. The role also develops scalable workflows and playbooks for a growing retail customer segment and requires up to 10% local travel.

Lead and develop team leads and customer care specialists supporting Toast Payroll & Tax. Drive operational excellence across KPIs (CSAT, SLA, quality), own escalations, partner with Product/Engineering/Operations, optimize processes and AI-assisted workflows, and manage change to improve customer experience and compliance in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Manage a portfolio of SMB restaurant customers (Mandarin-speaking focus), drive adoption and retention of Toast products, deliver virtual meetings and demos, resolve technical and operational issues, leverage data to recommend product solutions, and participate in churn-saves and revenue retention conversations.

Serve as primary customer contact through onboarding and Go-Live, manage multiple implementations, create and deliver onboarding/training plans, perform remote site/network assessments, document installations and deviations, provide post-live support and troubleshooting, and meet activation goals while consulting in French or English.

Respond to and resolve escalated billing, contract, and account issues across email, chat, voice, and Salesforce tickets. Process credits and account adjustments, investigate fraud, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction with Toast POS.
