Develops AI and machine learning prototypes for insurance applications using Python, large language models, NLP, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, information retrieval, and computer vision. Collaborates with data scientists and engineers on ideation, product design, algorithm development, data analysis, and experimentation in an R&D environment.

Leads the Independent Agency Data Science team and oversees Quote Efficiency models, emerging AI/ML initiatives, and products supporting agents, territory managers, and producers. Manages 7–10 data scientists across model development, deployment, monitoring, and performance evaluation. Partners with analytics, technology, strategy, marketing, and business stakeholders while developing talent and communicating with senior executives.

Leads the Small Commercial Product Design and Modeling data science function, managing data scientists and overseeing predictive analytics, statistical modeling, dashboards, and decision tools. Provides strategic direction, develops talent, partners with senior business stakeholders, and drives complex cross-functional initiatives across insurance business units. Owns delivery of technically advanced insights and tools supporting strategic decision-making, while shaping the broader data science community.
