The Software Support Specialist provides frontline technical support for the company’s multifamily housing management systems, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service to property management teams. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, deep familiarity with multifamily software applications, and the ability to deliver timely solutions, training support, and system documentation. The Software Support Specialist plays a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting team members in the effective use of company software platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Yardi & Property Operations Support
Provide day-to-day support to onsite teams and vendor partners using property management systems, with a strong focus on Yardi. Assist with common tasks such as leasing workflows, resident records, reporting, and system navigation.
Help resolve system-related questions in a timely and professional manner, ensuring teams can continue their daily operations with minimal disruption. Support key functions such as screening, insurance, payments, and revenue management within Yardi and related platforms.
Monitor recurring issues and partner with internal teams or vendors when additional support is needed.
Yardi System Knowledge & User Support
Yardi System Knowledge & User Support
Build and maintain strong working knowledge of Yardi (including Voyager, CRM tools, RentCafe, and Aspire) and how it supports property operations.
Create and update easy-to-use resources such as quick guides, FAQs, and tips to help onsite teams better navigate systems.
Serve as a go-to resource for best practices, helping teams use Yardi more efficiently in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Training & Team Support
Training & Team Support
Support training efforts by helping manage course assignments, tracking completion, and maintaining training materials.
Assist in creating simple, practical learning tools such as job aids, walkthroughs, and basic assessments to reinforce system knowledge.
Help facilitate training sessions, workshops, or team meetings focused on Yardi and property operations processes.
Work with team members to support system updates and ongoing learning initiatives.

Required Work Experience
- Minimum number of years: 2 years of related experience preferred
- Property Management (commercial and/or residential) favored
- Industry experience and proficiency with relevant software systems favored
Certifications and/or Licenses
- Valid driver license legally allowing driving for work purposes during working hours
- Valid automobile insurance when operating a vehicle for business purposes
- Any other licenses/certifications required by governing agencies - otherwise, none
Continuing Education Courses
- Only those required to maintain government agency certification or licensing
- Completion of applicable Company training programs throughout employment
Working Conditions
- Majority of time spent in an office environment or on-site at residential communities
- Optional remote work on Fridays, subject to business needs and performance
- In-person, regular, and predictable attendance is essential to the role
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for emergencies or special events
- Occasional out-of-town travel for industry conferences, training, and professional development opportunities
