ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Engages with and advocates for children for whom child specific and targeted recruitment will be required.
2. Designs and carries out a community recruitment campaign using public awareness activities and presentations.
3. Participates in community adoption recruitment activities.
4. Responds to adoption inquiry calls and online inquires.
5. Ensures identified children are registered on adoption recruitment sites.

6. Completes a thorough family finding file review to locate any healthy and safe adults in the child’s life.
6. Establishes relationships with child, and care manager, to ensure appropriate interventions are provided to prepare child for adoption and engagement in recruitment process.
7. Refers waiting children and recruited families to appropriate supportive services that enhance recruitment effort.
8. Provides monthly statistical reports to supervisor and participates in contract calls/meetings.


Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and at least two years of experience working with children within the system of care.
