Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Management Specialist to join our team of customer-obsessed professionals. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer data, which is used to generate personalized mailings and messages. If you excel in data management, have advanced proficiency in Excel, and are committed to safeguarding sensitive information, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
- Process and format customer data in Excel, ensuring names, addresses, and other details meet mailing standards.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize proprietary software to generate printable materials, including envelopes and personalized card messages.
- Manage and organize data sheets, including logging completed work and securely deleting outdated information.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to support mailing operations and ensure readiness of operator kits.
- Adhere strictly to data privacy and security guidelines, particularly when handling personally identifiable information (PII).
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data management, quality control, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel (including macros).
- Familiarity with U.S. postal standards and mailing processes.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Awareness of and adherence to data protection policies, especially when handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with database management systems or proprietary data processing software.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
