Job Description:
What you'll do:
- Within Chewy's Commercial Finance Healthcare team, to perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy Healthcare growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to deliver business insights, reporting and analyses, and recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership.
- Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance.
- Work cross-functionally with the broader Finance team, the Healthcare Merchandising team, Product team, Marketing, Supply Chain and Accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations.
- Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and annual/quarterly planning processes.
- Oversee the monthly close process ensuring books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with Chewy's policies and procedures.
- Pursue continuous improvement in all areas of the business with an emphasis on Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance.
- Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll need:
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics, or a related field of study and 3 years of experience required as a Financial Quantitative Analyst, or related position/occupation.
- Alternate Education and Experience: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics, or a related field of study and 1 year of experience required as a Financial Quantitative Analyst, or related position/occupation.
- Full term of experience must include the following:
- Financial analysis and modeling skills;
- Forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis;
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables);
- Building financial models via Excel to forecast and report the P&L;
- PowerPoint;
- Pulling data and deep diving into data;
- Performing analysis on the P&L and deep dives into accounting transactions;
- Communicating and working across departments/ functions and across levels/hierarchies;
- Experience or coursework in data query languages/software such as SQL or Python or R.
- Experience must also include: finance experience with GAAP and financial statements.

The base salary range for this role is $86,500 to $138,500 per year.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
