Role accountabilities:
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Workplace Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all users of our workspace have a best-in-class experience. You will be accountable for the delivery of the expected user-experience through the management of an internal team and/or through the contract management and service delivery of outsourced Workplace suppliers. To ensure standards and KPI’s are met for all properties within your remit including carrying out audits where applicable. Your role will be supporting the setting of budgets, approve costs within approval limits, report and manage variances of your budget. You will be responsible for interface with other Arcadis functions including safety, health, environment & Quality (SHEQ) to ensure agreed Workplace Health and Safety and Sustainability responsibilities are met. You will also support the review of Workplace standards and updates as applicable, coordinating Workplace communications and Intranet sites, and supporting workplace projects within the property/s when required.
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Provide leadership, guidance and development to your team members
• Responsible for compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, Arcadis standards and for operational workplace services, HSE responsibilities
• Accountable for escalation and resolution of portfolio related Workplace issues
• Owns the issue and delivers the solution
• As subject matter specialist, support the senior team and suppliers to advise and guide Arcadis in FM and Workplace operational matters related to the property/s.
• Effectively manage the supply chain to deliver consistent standards of service, financial and operational compliance and a partnership approach which allows innovation and continual improvement.
• Accountable for the compliance and service delivery of any contractors or sub-contractors (including reviewing RAMS, MS, COSHH data).
• Responsible for the financial management and performance of the property/s Workplace budget including budget setting and reporting of variances and corrective actions
• Interface with enabling functions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Participate as a key member of the wider Workplace team, supporting development, innovation and improvement.
• Deputize as required and as appropriate
Qualifications & Experience:
Knowledge
· Sound knowledge of FM/Workplace matters and practices gained by sufficient experience working in a similar environment
· A minimum of five years’ experience leading FM/Workplace service · IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) qualified
· Experience managing budgets in excess of $500k, budget setting, reporting and variance management
Skills and Experience
· Fluency in written and spoken English (as well as local country language) is essential
· Excellent communication and presentation skills · Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
· Developing effective relationships with stakeholders
· Demonstrable experience of FM/Workplace or similar, customer facing environment
· Sound knowledge of IT systems used in the delivery of Workplace services
