We seek to ignite that passion by setting high standards, championing teamwork, and creating work-life harmony as we collectively navigate rapid growth on a global scale while striving for greater equity and opportunity – inside and outside our organization.

To flourish here, you must be prepared to set a high bar for yourself and those around you. There is always a way to contribute: Acting with autonomy, having accountability and being open to new perspectives are essential to our continued success.

Our deep curiosity to learn and our eagerness to share diverse passions with others gives us balance and injects a one-of-a-kind vibrancy into our culture.

We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented Workplace Experience Specialist to support the daily operations of Braze’s New York City headquarters and help deliver an exceptional employee and guest experience. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and well-functioning office while coordinating workplace programs, supporting facilities needs, and executing employee events and initiatives.

As Braze’s New York City headquarters, our office welcomes employees, executive leadership, Board members, candidates, clients, partners, vendors, and other external guests. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating a positive workplace experience, anticipates needs, and can confidently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be hands-on in supporting daily operations across multiple floors, coordinating with vendors and building management, and ensuring the office is consistently ready to support employees and business needs.

This position sits within the People Team and reports directly to the Workplace Experience Manager/Site Lead for New York City. You will work closely with the NYC Workplace Experience team, building management, vendors, and cross-functional partners to support local workplace operations and contribute to broader Workplace Experience initiatives across Braze.

Braze is a fast-paced, rapidly growing company, and we’re looking for a self-starter who takes initiative, exercises sound judgment, and balances thoughtful hospitality with reliable operational execution. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while knowing when to escalate issues or seek guidance. This role will be required to be in-office five days per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Coordinate and facilitate the NYC new hire onboarding experience, including in-person office orientations, office tours, and introductions to workplace resources
  • Provide dotted-line support and day-to-day coordination for the NYC Workplace Experience Receptionist, helping ensure consistent reception coverage, guest hospitality, and adherence to workplace procedures
  • Coordinate office lunch schedules and related logistics to support a seamless employee dining experience
  • Manage event intake and serve as the on-site Workplace Experience lead for office events, coordinating logistics, catering, vendors, room setups, and cross-functional support
  • Manage building Certificates of Insurance (COIs), coordinating submissions, approvals, and follow-up with vendors and building management
  • Serve as a Workplace Experience champion for Jira Service Desk, monitoring incoming requests, coordinating resolutions, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring timely follow-through
  • Manage assigned purchase orders, PCard transactions, and Coupa PunchOut purchasing activities in accordance with company procurement and expense policies
  • Support office budget tracking and forecasting by maintaining expense records, reviewing invoices, and providing relevant updates and inputs
  • Coordinate vendor service calls and facilities requests, partnering with building management, service providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve workplace issues
  • Conduct daily office walkthroughs to assess workplace readiness, identify maintenance or service needs, and reset spaces and amenities as needed
  • Serve as the secondary point of contact for office access matters, supporting badge requests, access troubleshooting, and coordination with the appropriate internal and building teams
  • Support construction, facilities improvement, and furniture projects by coordinating vendor access, logistics, scheduling, and employee communications
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, executive leadership, Board members, candidates, clients, vendors, and other visitors
  • Maintain and update the NYC Confluence page, ensuring procedures, resources, and operational documentation remain accurate and accessible
  • Provide ad hoc reception coverage as needed to maintain a consistent and welcoming front-of-house experience
  • Draft and distribute office communications and Slack announcements regarding workplace updates, events, operational changes, and employee reminders
  • Collaborate with the NYC Workplace Experience team and cross-functional partners to maintain a well-organized, secure, and efficient office environment and continuously improve workplace operations
