Job Summary
As a Workplace Communication Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless and effective communication systems across the Johnson & Johnson campus. Your focus will be on providing friendly, hands-on support for all telephony and mobile device needs. You will serve as the primary point of contact for J&J employees on phone system issues, handle service requests, provide first-level technical assistance, and work closely with technical teams to ensure reliable and secure communication services throughout the workplace. This role is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • User & Device Support: Act as the first point of contact for all employee phone and mobile device inquiries. Process new user setups, configure phone extensions and voicemails, and assist with corporate mobile device activations, swaps, and troubleshooting.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, high-touch support to employees, offering clear and patient guidance for users at all levels of technical expertise.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot common telephony-related issues such as call quality, connectivity, and basic device functions. Log service requests and escalate complex technical matters to the appropriate IT support teams for timely resolution.
  • Coordination & Administration: Coordinate with telecom service vendors for service calls or installations as necessary. Maintain up-to-date records and inventory of telecom assets, user accounts, and service tickets to support efficient operations.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure all service actions comply with Johnson & Johnson and JLL security protocols and policies, maintaining the integrity and security of communication systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a corporate phone administration, help desk, facilities coordinator, receptionist, or client services role is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with business communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams Voice, and experience supporting users on corporate phone systems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya).
  • Familiarity with managing and troubleshooting mobile devices (iOS, Android) in a corporate environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to triage and escalate issues efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple inquiries and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • A professional, proactive, and positive attitude, with a passion for helping others and contributing to a productive workplace environment.
