Job Summary
The Workforce Coordinator will be working in a high-pressure environment and taking on diverse responsibilities across all activities performed within the operations of Roush Management and Prototype Services. The Workforce Coordinator will be heavily focused on coordinating the Roush workforce and contract hiring. This role is located in Allen Park, MI.
As the Workforce Coordinator, you will:
- Helping to administer the Roush toolbox program, and work with the staffing partners as a liaison on their toolbox program.
- Supporting the contract hiring process, including interview scheduling, routing, and follow-up as needed.
- Creating contractor jobs within SVMS and communicating with staffing partners as needed.
- Facilitating operations orientation and test proctoring for new hires.
- Following up contract notes and statuses within contractor system.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and staffing projects, weekend warrior support and retrofits.
- Updates presentations and internal excel documents as needed.
To be considered for a Workforce Coordinator, you will need:
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years of coordination experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to remain detail oriented while balancing numerous tasks
A successful candidate may also have:
- Associate degree
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years of coordination experience
- Workforce and contract staffing experience
- Ability to excel with tight deadlines
- Ability to obtain an understanding of the company operation and the types of employees needed to advance the company’s mission
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills
