Workflow Solutions and Business Development Manager – GRS
Reporting to Global Strategic Business Development Director, the Workflow Solutions and Business Development Manager – GRS is responsible for driving market development and demand creation for EWM/ESAB’s robotic welding and workflow solutions portfolio in Turkey, Africa and MEA.
The role focuses on identifying and developing strategic business opportunities, supporting integrator and partner development, and positioning EWM/ESAB as a workflow solution provider across robotic welding solutions. Director Global Strategic Business Development
Key responsibilities:
- Drives identification and development of strategic business opportunities together with the global Business Development Leadership team for GRS and Workflow Solutions in the market
- Analyzes market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to support structured opportunity development
- Perform GRS go-to-market strategies and drive growth of robotics solutions
- Build long-term relationships and interaction with regional integrators and key account customers
- Drive key account development, and qualify business opportunities together with regional sales teams
- Moving from component sales to workflow solution sales
- Strategic rollout of the EWM portfolio in Turkey, Africa and MEA
- Representing the company externally at key industry events
- Regular business travel within Turkey, Africa and MEA
Requirements
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in robotic welding, automation, or industrial workflow solutions
- Experience in business development or sales roles
- Experience working with OEMs and large industrial customers
- Strong understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of the business
- Structured and disciplined approach to opportunity and pipeline management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English
Nice-to-have:
- Background in companies within the welding, automation, or industrial equipment sector
- International experience in cross-functional or global teams
