Public Area Supervisor - Altunizade Suites Istanbul, Curio Collection by Hilton

What will you be doing?

As a Public Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel’s public areas, ensuring that Hilton’s high standards of quality, safety, and hospitality are consistently maintained.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Public Area team.
• Inspect guest and Team Member public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Assign daily duties and priorities to Team Members and follow up on completion.
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Security, and other departments to ensure operational needs are addressed promptly.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues and follow up until they are resolved.
• Ensure cleaning equipment, machinery, and supplies are used correctly, safely, and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and communicate replenishment needs.
• Support the training, coaching, motivation, and development of Public Area Team Members.
• Ensure Team Members follow hotel policies, procedures, grooming standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Communicate relevant information and outstanding tasks effectively to the next shift.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and Team Member requests related to public areas.
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative working environment.
• Support the Housekeeping management team with daily operations and other reasonable duties when required.

A Public Area Supervisor serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our guests and with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should have:

• Previous experience in Housekeeping or Public Area operations, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Good communication, organization, and team coordination skills.
• A hands-on and solution-oriented approach to daily operations.
• Ability to motivate and support Team Members while maintaining operational standards.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Awareness of workplace health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing and walking for extended periods and handling housekeeping equipment and supplies.
