Join Pitney Bowes as a Workday Reporting Analyst

Impact 

As a Workday Reporting Analyst, you will work directly with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy reporting solutions that transform Workday data into consumable and actionable resources for business leaders.   

The Workday Reporting Analyst will use their deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, and touch points with HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and more, while providing expertise in building, testing and deploying complex reports   

As our Reporting Analyst, you’ll be relied upon to create advanced reports needed by all HR functions in support of each business within PB. This will include key HR metrics reporting (workforce, hires; retention, turnover), talent metrics (promotion reporting; learning and development tracking; performance management insights), diversity, equity and inclusion (demographics) as well as ad hoc reporting as needed.  
 To be successful, you should be naturally curious and driven to pursue answers and insights through data and analysis. You’ll need an outstanding ability to communicate quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner. You will thrive working independently, or collaboratively as part of a team but you’ll retain an “end-user perspective” seeking to deliver meaningful data and dashboards in the most efficient way possible.  

  

The Job 

  • Utilize Advanced Workday report writing experience, both in modifying delivered and creating custom reports, including composite reports, matrix reports, and dashboards, which meet customer needs.  

  • Demonstrate an ability to leverage calculated fields and your understanding of Workday’s data architecture and business object model to recommend the most efficient solutions  

  • Troubleshoot report related issues and resolve in a timely manner, while providing sustainable solutions that support HR’s vision and mission  

  • Support audits and HR practices data requests, ensuring timeliness and data integrity  

  • Manage an array of dashboards in order to drive adoption amongst all our user populations  

  • You will ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits, developing best practices, maintaining relevant documentation, and educating end-users  

  • You will consult with business leaders to identify key reporting requirements and then develop custom Workday reports, including advanced, matrix, trending, and composite reports  

  • You will ensure strict data and privacy standards while accessing highly confidential data.  

 

Qualifications & Skills Required 

 The role requires a talented, self-directed, and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the following qualifications, experience, and skills: 

  • 2+ years of Workday reporting experience, including the development of complex calculated fields and at least 3 years of experience supporting the core Workday HCM functional area  

  • 1+ year of experience supporting at least two of the following Workday functional areas: compensation, talent/performance, absence, payroll, integrations and have a general understanding of Workday security and data governance frameworks  

  • 1+ year of experience using PRISM 

  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying  

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with an ability to understand and communicate complex functional and technical solutions to HR and end users  

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives at one time under pressure  

  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail, analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, and creativity.   

  • Effectively manage confidential data, and professional work with colleagues in establishing and adhering to data governance standards   

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in information systems, computer science, human resources management, data analytics or business administration. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
