The Opportunity
This is a temporary contract position supporting our HR Operations Team. The Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) System Administrator/Analyst serves as a key in-house specialist, responsible for the administration, integration, and optimization of the Workday HCM system. This role involves developing and maintaining file feeds and integrations, performing data loads, and collaborating with the HR team to configure Workday to meet business requirements across various HR functional areas. The administrator will also play a crucial role in evaluating and adopting new Workday functionalities and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
What You Will Do
Administer the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) System.
Serve as the in-house specialist for file feed and integration management between Workday and other internal business systems or external partners (e.g., benefits or payroll providers).
Develop new file integrations using Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT).
Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining file feeds using Workday Studio tools.
Project manage complex integrations, potentially in collaboration with outsourced partners or internal IT.
Perform data loads to Workday utilizing the Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) functionality.
Collaborate with the HR-AML (US Team) on Workday development and configuration to align with AMPI business requirements across various HR functional areas, including performance, talent, compensation, benefits, and absence management.
Analyze and understand new functionalities introduced in Workday updates, assisting in determining which features would be beneficial for adoption.
Work with HR users to prioritize the release and implementation of new functionalities.
Ensure strict compliance with the Data Privacy Act.
What You Will Need
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related course, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience using an HCM system such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or Oracle, specifically in a super-user or HCM Analyst capacity.
