We have a fantastic permanent part-time position available looking after our St Andrews Ipswich Private Hospital.
About The Role
In this role, you will lead all WHS initiatives at St Andrews Ipswich Private Hospital, partnering closely with both the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to build and maintain a strong, proactive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include
- Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation.
- Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
- Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
- Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
- Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
- Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
- A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
