As a Paid Social Specialist, you will shape and execute paid social strategies that directly connect small businesses, accountants and bookkeepers with Xero’s platform. You will plan, launch, and optimise full funnel campaigns across key platforms to drive scalable growth and measurable return on investment.
By managing budget allocation, audience targeting, and campaign testing, your work directly influences how global audiences discover Xero. You will turn campaign data into actionable insights, refining customer journeys and helping small businesses thrive around the world.
The team & how they connect
You will join a collaborative performance digital team that sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and creative design. The team works closely with data science, creative optimisation, and brand specialists to deliver cohesive paid social strategies. Together, they share ideas openly, experiment with new ideas, and support each other to reach common goals.
Initially, the role will focus on:
Launching and managing high-performing campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Reddit and LinkedIn using platform-native tools and analytics software
Executing a creative and audience testing roadmap in partnership with data science and creative optimisation specialists
Leveraging customer data platforms to build targeted audience segments and improve campaign incrementality
Working with our media partners to identify opportunities for growth, new products and testing betas.

Here are some of the things we are looking for:
You bring hands-on experience planning, launching, and optimising paid social campaigns within a digital performance or SaaS environment
A background using ad management tools across channels such as LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok to drive customer acquisition
Proven expertise in audience segmentation, budget management, and continuous A/B testing strategies
Strong analytical capabilities with the confidence to evaluate campaign metrics, interpret performance data, and refine campaign strategies
Collaborative communication skills to build cross-functional relationships with data, creative, and partner marketing teams
Familiarity with tracking solutions, conversion funnels, and performance reporting frameworks
