We are looking for an experienced Traditional Trade Sales Manager to lead and expand our Wet Market business nationwide. He/She will lead and grow RGF’s nationwide wet market business by developing relationships with market masters, wholesalers, distributors, and wet market vendors while driving sales growth, profitability, and market share. The role carries RGF’s long-term objective of becoming one of the country’s leading suppliers to the wet market segment, and demands proven experience scaling a traditional trade business together with a deep understanding of the unique dynamics of the wet market channel.

Wet Market Growth Strategy

●Develop and execute the company’s wet market growth strategy.

●Identify new business opportunities and launch new products into the wet market channel.

Channel & Relationship Development

●Build strong relationships with market masters, wholesalers, distributors, and wet market vendors.

●Expand distribution and increase market penetration nationwide.

Sales, Profitability & Market Share

●Drive revenue, profitability, and market share across the wet market channel.

●Ensure effective territory management, collections, and distributor performance.

Team Leadership & Development

●Lead, coach, and manage the wet market sales team.

●Build team capability in relationship-driven traditional trade selling.

Market & Competitor Intelligence

●Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends.

●Translate market insights into pricing, promotion, and product decisions.

Distribution & Territory Management

●Manage distributor performance, coverage, and route-to-market execution.

●Oversee territory management and collection discipline across all accounts.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Management or any related field.
  • 5–10 years in Traditional / General Trade selling meat, poultry, seafood, frozen foods, or temperature-controlled FMCG; current or recent (within 2 years) wet market vendor / wholesaler experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of wet market operations, pricing, buying behavior, distribution, and cold chain; proven distributor, wholesale, and collection management.
  • Proven ability to scale a regional or national traditional trade business, launch new products into wet markets, and lead a field sales team.
  • Head Office: Sucat, Parañaque City — with nationwide field coverage.


Skills Required
