Web Content Strategist

Overview

A-dec’s web presence generates sales leads from all regions of the world, as well as promotes the brand. The web content coordinator is a key member of the web team responsible for the planning, collecting, writing and/or editing, review, and implementation of all content on A-dec websites, including managing translations. This position is also responsible for setting the strategy, search engine optimization, monitoring search engine rankings, and making necessary modifications to the sites to improve visibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains a content strategy for each element, existing and new, of the websites, including purpose, audience, relevance to the industry, keywords, and timeline for review and update.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to help build a web presence that meets the organization’s needs. 
• Edits, builds, creates, and maintains web pages using Sitecore CMS.
• Works with subject matter experts to collect content, manage the content workflow through to final publishing.
• Writes content and edit content written by others.
• Collaborates with web team to help plan and build new features and tools for the various web properties. 
• Assesses content needs for product launches, marketing campaigns and programs.
• Develops competitive and gap analyses of the sites. 
• Other duties as assigned.
   

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extremely detail oriented and organized. 
• Familiarity with UX web best practices such as SEO, accessibility, and usability.
• Solid written communication and presentation skills.
• HTML/CSS experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Computer Science. Incumbent typically possess 2+ years of experience working with content for the web, and 5 or more years of writing/creating marketing collateral.
• Experience working with MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other web/creative tools. 
• Technical experience working with Content Management Systems (Sitecore experience is a plus).
