A Weaver operates and maintains between 7-10 weaving machines to produce narrow webbing, ensuring quality and efficiency. They handle materials, perform routine maintenance, keep accurate production records via the PFE device in D365, and follow safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Safely produce high-quality webbing per the production schedule as shown on the D365 PFE device.
- Monitor multiple looms at a time.
- Communicate with the PIVO operator.
- Ensure all quality dimensions are in specification per the work order instructions on the D365 PFE Device.
- Accurately record production transactions on the D365 PFE device.
- Assist with the set-up process of patterns on the looms.
- Assist with the loading and tie in of new beams on the looms.
- Perform minor maintenance on looms and request maintenance support when needed.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Authority to stop the production process for safety or quality concerns.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. overhead as needed.
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
