Responsibilities

· Identify, pursue, and secure new business with OEMs, LTL carriers, and private fleets in industries such as food and beverage, construction, and heavy goods.

· Develop and execute a market strategy aligned with corporate sales targets and customer requirements.

· Educate customers on Kinedyne’s solutions, tailoring messaging to specific business needs and logistics operations.

· Represent the company professionally at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

· Lead and manage the sales cycle from lead generation through close, ensuring alignment with established procedures.

· Maintain a robust sales pipeline through continuous prospecting and lead qualification.

· Track and report performance metrics and customer feedback to support decision-making and continual improvement.

· Respond to customer inquiries and RFPs, ensuring compliance with internal processes and quality standards.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Engineering, Product Development) to fulfill customer requirements and drive innovation.

· Partner with the Segment Manager, Curtainside Solutions, to co-develop go-to-market strategies that improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

· Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to support strategic planning and risk-based thinking.

· Develop annual segment-level business plans and coordinate implementation across departments to ensure consistency with quality objectives.

· Mentor and provide leadership to future assigned team members including project or product managers and sales coordinators.

· Participate in and lead initiatives that support continual improvement of sales processes and customer engagement practices.

· Conduct and apply market research, voice of customer (VOC) feedback, and data analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory, industry, and company requirements relevant to the heavy-duty trucking and cargo control sectors.

· Approve customer-specific proposals and pricing within defined limits.

· Approve content for segment-specific marketing and promotional materials.

Minimum Qualification/Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

· High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Skills Requirements

· Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with proficiency in sales data analysis and pipeline management.

· Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM systems.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

· Self-directed, highly organized, and capable of managing complex sales cycles and multiple priorities.

· Ability to produce and present business plans and strategic segment reports.

Minimum Experience Requirements

· Minimum five (5) years of experience in outside sales, with preference for experience in transportation, logistics, or industrial equipment.

· Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets in enterprise-level accounts.

· Experience with strategic account management, territory development, and complex sales cycles.
