- Administer direct supervisory responsibilities for warehouse personnel including selection, hiring, training, performance evaluations, promotional recommendations and work scheduling.
- Assure high level of data and transactional integrity in the SAP system in order to achieve high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Implement lean six sigma principles and techniques as related to material handling and control.
- Lead the Warehouse team to observe all procedural and documentation requirements to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Assist the SCM to oversee the Logistics Support operations including in house rework and packing.
- Responsible for all strategic and operational logistics support activities to ensure timely incoming clearance and on time deliveries to customers.
- Manage and co-ordinate for all in house rework and packing requirements between Purchasing and Warehouse, supervise the Logistics Support team to observe all procedural and documentation requirements to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Deplore systematically logistic analysis, identify the problems and propose actions for improvements (flows, packing, packaging, inventory, warehousing, cost,…)
- Implement a strict and systematic stock control in central warehouse, DCs and customers’ on-site buffers (consignments); define the proper management rules with a regular monitoring, proceed for systematic analysis of discrepancy and propose actions for a continuous improvement.
- Set up and improve continuously the receiving / storage / delivery operations procedures in DCs and keep monitoring on process status.
- Ensure warehousing management efficiency: FIFO, inventory accuracy, goods movements, layout optimization,
- Other tasks assigned by the manager.
