A successful VP, Enterprise Sales EMEA at Fiserv acts as a Partner in Possibility for large merchants and digital businesses navigating the fast-moving world of commerce. This role drives growth by helping clients modernize card-not-present payments through strategic, value-based sales conversations and enterprise-level relationship development.
This is a senior individual contributor role. While the title reflects the level of experience, market credibility, and strategic influence required, this role does not include direct people management responsibilities.
Success in this role comes from combining deep fintech expertise, commercial discipline, and a strong focus on client impact across the EMEA region. These hires are not only about adding sales capacity. They bring established credibility and access to a network of senior decision-makers and large enterprise customers that can be converted into strategic CommerceHub opportunities. The ability to open doors at scale and accelerate market penetration is a key success factor for this role.
What you will do:
Drive new enterprise business development for CommerceHub across the EMEA region
Prospect, qualify, and advance strategic opportunities with large merchants and digital commerce clients
Engage C-level and senior decision-makers including CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Payments, and Digital Commerce leaders
Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through solution alignment, commercial negotiation, and contract close
Build, maintain, and forecast a healthy pipeline of high-value enterprise opportunities
Leverage an established network of enterprise buyers, partners, and industry stakeholders to open doors and accelerate strategic opportunity creation
Represent Fiserv as a senior market-facing leader with strong industry credibility, commercial insight, and a client-first mindset
Partner with Solution Engineering, Product, Legal, and Customer Success to deliver compelling client solutions
Position CommerceHub capabilities across payment orchestration, acquiring, fraud prevention, tokenization, and payment optimization
Contribute to broader market development by sharing client insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic input that help shape commercial direction and market expansion priorities
What you will need to have:
Proven enterprise B2B sales success in complex fintech, payments, acquiring, or payment orchestration environments
Strong expertise in card-not-present payments, payment gateways, omnichannel commerce, and enterprise payment flows
Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value strategic deals with enterprise clients
Experience building relationships with executive stakeholders across large merchant organizations in EMEA
Strong consultative selling, commercial negotiation, pipeline management, and forecasting skills
Established credibility in the market, with access to a network of senior decision-makers and large enterprise customers
Demonstrated ability to shape strategic opportunities and influence executive stakeholders internally and externally
Experience building or leading high-performing enterprise sales environments, including hiring, coaching, or developing senior sales talent, while recognizing that this specific role is an individual contributor position without team management responsibility
What would be great to have:
Knowledge of PSD2, SCA, 3DS, fraud prevention, network tokens, and payment routing optimization
Experience selling into large digital businesses, enterprise merchants, or multinational commerce organizations
A strong ecosystem network across enterprise merchants, partners, ISVs, payment providers, and industry influencers
Familiarity with competitive and partner ecosystems across leading payment providers and card networks
Experience working cross-functionally in matrixed organizations to shape and win complex client opportunities
Fluency in one or more European languages in addition to English
