Vimeo is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP, Channel Sales and Partnerships to lead and scale our global channel sales, business development, and partnership strategies. This senior leader will oversee a comprehensive partner ecosystem including VARs, resellers, distributors, and integrators to drive Vimeo’s indirect sales. The role will also focus on product partnerships, strategic alliances and business development initiatives, while closely collaborating with Vimeo’s sales, marketing and product leaders to accelerate revenue growth and market expansion for both our Enterprise and self-serve businesses.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a global channel sales strategy, partnering with VARs, resellers, distributors, and other partners to drive indirect sales growth and market expansion
  • Build and manage a high-performing partner network, ensuring channel partners are enabled and incentivized to meet revenue targets
  • Identify and cultivate new business development opportunities, including strategic alliances, joint ventures, and technology partnerships to enhance Vimeo’s go-to-market strategy and to grow Vimeo’s self-serve business.
  • Collaborate closely with Vimeo’s sales leadership to align channel strategies with overall sales goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Lead negotiations and close high-impact deals with strategic partners and alliances, contributing to global expansion and product enhancement
  • Drive global market expansion by leveraging partnerships to enter new regions and enhance Vimeo’s competitive positioning
  • Establish key performance metrics and manage partner performance to ensure alignment with Vimeo’s growth objectives and optimize the overall partner ecosystem
  • Work with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure strong collaboration and integration of partner strategies across the business
  • Foster relationships with technology partners, resellers and distributors to enable successful joint go-to-market initiatives and co-selling opportunities
  • Stay ahead of market trends and continuously evolve channel strategies to support Vimeo’s long-term growth

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 10+ years experience in channel sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in scaling global channel programs and driving significant revenue growth through a network of VARs, resellers, and distributors
  • Experience with product partnerships and building partner ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and experience working with technology, media, or video solutions
  • Proven ability to collaborate with sales leadership to drive growth and align indirect and direct sales strategies
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders
  • Experience managing large, multi-channel partner ecosystems across different regions
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment and work cross-functionally with diverse teams

Base Salary Range:

  • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles:    $223,000 - $306,500
  • All other US cities outside above metro areas:   $200,700 - $275,850

This role also includes on-target commissions in addition to base salary.
