VN Finance manager

Overall manage Corsair Design Systems Ltd's accounting and finance operation locally, be the contact point of 3rd party accounting firm, review journal entries and transactions and reporting, and assist Controller to improve internal controls for local operations, in line with Corporate Policies and Procedures and adhering to Local and US GAAP accounting standards.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Monitor the accounting firm close the book on HQ closing schedule, review Journal Entry as the 1st approver in Oracle for all entries posted by 3rd party accounting firm

• Be the internal owner of BS and accounting , answer HQ and KPMG global audit's query on timely basis

• Be the bridge of Controller and 3rd party accounting firm, follow up instructions of Controller to improve internal control , solve business operation problems, and support cost saving actions if any

• Involve deeply into local operation, check the authenticity,reasonableness and completeness of the original Vietnamese invoices, receipts, contracts, report to Controller if any doubtful expenses, collect and deliver these originals documents for accounting firm's booking

• Be the coordinator of local annual statutory auditing , review final statutory reports, understand any variance between Oracle and statutory reports, work with the local Chief Accountant for annual CIT filing

• With the support of the accounting firm and the local Chief Accountant, follow up local VAT refund from local tax authorities.

• Review the accounting firms local Vietnamese tax report and make sure local tax declaration are accurate, approve tax payment request from the accounting firm. Make sure the accounting firm reconcile any tax variance  

between local ledger and group ledger, report to HQ tax leader for any issues

• Be the payroll focal point, collect any salary movement information from HR and deliver to 3rd party accounting firm, prepare reconciliation for monthly movement for the Controller's review, report timely if investigate 
 any abnormal items

• Support global Treasury on local bank administration related matters(director changes, address changers, close/open local banks under instructions etc..)  

• Under the instructions of HQ Tax , manage the local Transfer Pricing billing and submit funds transfer request to Treasury, prepare cash flow budget for working capital monthly

• Represent Corsair Finance for interactions with the Government, Tax authorities and any external service providers

• Any ad hoc projects required by management

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting or Finance, with VN qualified accounting certification. ACCA or CPA is a plus.

• At least 15 years of working experience, including 10 years of working experience in accounting/finance within VN branches of large foreign enterprise, the working language is English

• At least 5 years of experience as an accounting/finance manager or Chief Accountant , overall in-charge experience is preferred, with strong hands-on operational involvement and ability to work closely with local business team.

• Solid accounting knowledge, have a good understanding of Vietnam tax policy and regulations

• Good skill in Excel, accounting ERP( Oracle experience is preferred)

• Good command of writing and speaking English for daily reporting,can speak Chinese is a plus

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate efficiently across functions to drive things happen

• A good team player, reliable, self-initiative and well credibility, with high loyalty to the company
