Your days will be hands-on, collaborative, and focused on bringing ideas to life for the China market. You’ll work closely with marketers and designers to produce visuals that are clear, engaging, and culturally relevant.
The majority of your time will involve:
Design and Creative Execution- Design and produce visual assets for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and print materials focused on the China market.
- Translate briefs into clear, effective visual outputs that align with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
- Support the adaptation of regional or global campaigns into China-relevant creative executions.
- Create design assets for events and physical brand activations, including event visuals, signage, booth graphics, backdrops, presentation materials, and other on-ground touchpoints.
- Work closely with the China Marketing team to ensure all designs reflect local tastes, trends, and cultural nuances.
- Adapt and localise existing assets into Mandarin and China-specific formats with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure designs are appropriate for local platforms, with a clear understanding of platform differences (e.g. WeChat, Xiaohongshu, etc.).
- Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
- Maintain a high level of craft and attention to detail in all design outputs.
- Support the team in preparing final artwork and ensuring assets are ready for production, publishing, or event setup.
- Collaborate with regional Brand & Creative team members to align on design direction and feedback.
- Work efficiently within timelines and support smooth project delivery.
- Participate in reviews and incorporate feedback to improve work quality.
Requirements
These are minimum-requirement skills and a must-have for the role:
Must-haves- 2–4 years experience in brand, visual, or marketing design, with at least 2 years of direct experience in the China market.
- Based in (or significant experience living in) China, with a deep understanding of local consumer trends and visual aesthetics.
- Native or professional fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal); experience designing/typesetting in Mandarin.
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma for UI/UX and web design.
- Basic motion/video editing skills (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut).
- Proven portfolio covering end-to-end execution across print, digital, and physical environments (events/activations).
- Ability to translate creative concepts into production-ready assets while strictly adhering to brand guidelines.
- Experience working cross-functionally with regional marketing and content teams.
- Familiarity with China’s digital platforms (e.g. WeChat, Xiaohongshu).
- Illustration or simple motion graphics skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
- Work experience in Logistics, eCommerce or aviation industry.
