BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Video & Voice Engineer III on Voice Video Infrastructure team, under minimal supervision, you'll ensure the integrity and stability of all enterprise telecommunications-based systems by leading the design, installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all telecommunications services. Consult with internal teams and departments to leverage telecommunications technology resulting in improved business processes and solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of Network configuration work experience
    • 5+ years of Voice operations experience in provisioning, administering, supporting TDM and VoIP telephony platforms
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with Cisco collaboration tools, audiovisual systems, routing, and monitoring
    • Video collaboration solutions using advanced audiovisual technology
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of company products and services

    • Extensive knowledge of telecommunication protocols and telephony network architecture.
    • Extensive knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols
    • Proven IP network, VoIP and QoS troubleshooting capabilities. Certification is a plus.
    • Hands on experience with the management and support of Session Boarder Controllers or similar technologies
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to perform complex tasks in order to monitor, tune and diagnose problems
    • Ability to use personal computer and software applications
    • Ability to identify technology uses and advise leadership on new tools, software and options related to Voice and Video Products
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical teams
  • Travel Ability:
    • Office Environment.
  • Schedule:
    • Full Time. Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines and/or significant support issues. On-call work may be an essential function of the job
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Sitting for extended periods of time
    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components
    • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
    • Minimal travel required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong audiovisual background with hands-on experience in deploying and managing AV systems
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to oversee and deliver AV-related projects on time and within scope
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative to achieve tasks efficiently.
