Vice President, CLOs and Structured Products Systems
The Role
You will guide a team of analysts and software engineers in the development of our internal portfolio management systems with a focus on supporting our CLO management and Structured products investment teams. As the product owner you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the mission and strategy and prioritize the product feature backlog to deliver value to the investment team. You will enable team members to innovate and experiment while balancing the risk and reward of those efforts.
This position can be located in Boston or Merrimack.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Experience with alternative credit products, leveraged loans, CLOs, direct lending, distressed debt or high yield investment markets.
Strong aptitude for quantitative finance, statistics, probabilistic risk and associated concepts and believe in the key role technology can play in helping asset managers outperform.
Software product leadership experience.
Comfortable making and defending decisions with a bias for action even under conditions of uncertainty.
Confident and effective communicator.
CFA or commitment to study toward completing a CFA a plus.
Intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring and coaching.
A track record of contributing to high-performing, agile teams.
The Team
The High Income and Alternatives Technology team develops the proprietary internal software systems used to manage over $120 Billion in investments across High Yield, Emerging Market, Real Estate and other alternative credit markets. As a significant growth market for Fidelity, we focus on developing the portfolio construction, risk and trading solutions that will help us out-perform our competitors in these interesting and challenging markets.
