    •   Manage and develop a global team of approximately six compliance professionals while building a more consistent, scalable, and collaborative compliance function across multiple regions.

    •   Partner closely with the Chief Legal & Risk Officer, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Internal Audit, People, Product, Engineering, and Operations, to identify and address compliance risks while supporting business objectives.

    •   Partner with the Chief Legal & Risk Officer to help drive IPO and public-company readiness, including governance, internal controls, audit readiness, whistleblower and anti-bribery compliance programs, reporting, and related compliance processes.

    •   Build and continuously enhance global compliance policies, procedures, governance, monitoring, and reporting frameworks that support a rapidly growing international business.

    •   Oversee enterprise compliance across a broad and evolving regulatory landscape, partnering with regional subject-matter experts to ensure consistency while addressing local requirements.

    •   Establish meaningful compliance metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that provide senior leadership with visibility into program effectiveness, internal controls, remediation efforts, and emerging risks.

    •   Lead significant compliance investigations and remediation efforts while implementing scalable compliance processes and technology that improve visibility, consistency, and operational effectiveness across the organization.

    •   Monitor emerging regulatory developments and partner with business leaders to implement practical compliance solutions that support continued global growth.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

    •   Approximately 15+ years of legal and compliance experience, including significant leadership responsibility within a complex, highly regulated industry.

    •   Demonstrated success building or transforming a global compliance program, including governance, reporting, internal controls, investigations, audit readiness, and enterprise compliance initiatives.

    •   Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing geographically dispersed teams and driving consistency across global compliance organizations.

    •   Comfort leveraging compliance technology, reporting tools, and automation to improve program effectiveness and scalability.

    •   Excellent judgment, executive presence, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex compliance issues into practical, business-oriented advice.

    •   A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to risk and a collaborative style that emphasizes finding solutions while supporting business growth.

    •   Thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where leaders are expected to build infrastructure, embrace change, and partner closely with the business.

    •   Prior in-house experience, along with a combination of law firm and in-house practice, is preferred.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing global company at a pivotal stage in its evolution. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the organization’s compliance strategy while partnering closely with executive leadership to build a scalable compliance function that supports continued global expansion.

The position will be based in New York or Washington, DC. Compensation is expected to include a base salary of $325,000 to $375,000, plus an annual bonus and equity, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
