We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Technology Business Management to join our Finance & Strategy Hub’s Allocation Engineering Team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Translate executive, business, and finance objectives into technical and functional requirements, with clear deliverables that support allocation, reporting, and cost transparency outcomes.

The Technology Business Management Analyst supports the Finance Allocation team by delivering cost transparency, allocation analytics, and financial reporting that enable informed decision-making across Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, and rapidly convert them into operational and financial models, dashboards, and management reporting.
- Support the design, execution, and enhancement of financial allocation methodologies across technology and business cost pools, including showback and chargeback processes where applicable.
- Partner with Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders to support Technology Business Management, total cost of ownership, cost transparency, and financial performance initiatives.
- Import, transform, validate, and rationalize data from systems of record, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, ServiceNow, TargetProcess, application repositories, asset management platforms, and other relevant internal data sources.
- Operationalize monthly financial and allocation data processes by loading, validating, reconciling, and reviewing data on a timely basis.
- Perform reconciliations across source systems, allocation models, and reporting outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Analyze variances across actuals, budget, and forecast, and provide insights into cost drivers, allocation impacts, and financial trends.
- Maintain clear, audit-ready documentation for allocation rules, assumptions, data transformations, controls, and process steps.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and management reporting activities related to Finance Allocation and TBM processes.
- Identify data quality, process, and control issues, and recommend practical remediation and process improvement opportunities.
- Provide regular status updates, proactively identify risks and issues, and develop recommended mitigation approaches for management.
- Collaborate effectively across distributed and cross-functional teams, building strong working relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
- Execute projects independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating accountability, sound judgment, and initiative.
- Contribute to ongoing automation, standardization, and enhancement of reporting, allocation, and financial transparency capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets and convert findings into meaningful business insights.
- Experience working with financial management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Understanding of Technology Business Management principles, cost transparency concepts, and total cost of ownership methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across Finance, Technology, and business functions.

- Understanding of IT infrastructure and technology domains, including data centers, networks, servers, storage, virtual environments, and application development, sufficient to support TBM and cost allocation analysis.
- Experience with Agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA and TargetProcess or other portfolio/project management platforms.
- Proficiency in Apptio Cost Transparency (version R11 or higher preferred) strongly preferred.
- Experience with BI and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Over 9+ years of relevant experience in Technology Business Management, technology finance, financial planning and analysis, cost allocation, management reporting, or a related field required.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
- Technology Business Management and/or ITIL experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting controlled financial processes, reconciliations, and reporting in a complex organizational environment preferred.
