Position Details
Location: Remote — candidates based anywhere are welcome to apply. Local candidates (Atlanta, GA area) will have the option to complete in-person onboarding and training at the service center, which is the preferred approach when possible.
Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
Work style: Primarily email-based (~70% email, ~20% Microsoft Teams/video, ~10% phone). A strong digital communicator will thrive here.

As an Inside Vehicle Sales Representative, you’ll be the backbone of the Inside Sales operation — managing the sales process from start to finish, supporting customers through their buying experience, and keeping everything compliant, accurate, and moving.

Job Summary
The Inside Vehicle Sales Representative serves as frontline support for the Inside Sales Vehicle Sales Manager. You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management to make the customer buying experience as smooth and efficient as possible. This role is equal parts administrative precision and customer engagement — the job is never the same twice, and there’s always something to do.
Sales Administration & Processing
Manage the end-to-end sales process including titling, licensing and legal sale documents. Maintain cash logs, collect funds accurately and timely, and ensure all mandatory compliance requirements are met (Sarbanes-Oxley, Safety STAR Program and related initiatives). Work closely with the Inside Sales Vehicle Sales Manager to keep sales processing efficient and on schedule. Maintain vehicle sales compliance with local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies.
Customer Experience
Work directly with prospective and established customers to gather all applicable information needed to reduce processing time and enhance their overall experience. Communicate proactively via email and phone to build and expand customer relationships. Bring energy, organization and genuine care to every interaction.
Sales & Marketing Support
Structure all ancillary products (Finance and Extended Warranty) to meet customer needs and fulfill Ryder’s expectations. Support the Inside Vehicle Sales Manager in maximizing sales time by streamlining support activities and improving current processes.
Team Collaboration
This team works in a live, shared file environment — when someone is out, others step in and cover seamlessly. You’ll need to be comfortable working collaboratively in real time, maintaining file accuracy and communicating clearly with teammates throughout the day.
Additional Responsibilities
Maximize sales time by providing responsive, accurate sales support to the Inside Vehicle Sales Manager
Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across all required areas
Streamline and improve sales processing activities on an ongoing basis
Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
We hire for aptitude, attitude and attention to detail. Backgrounds in medical/pharmacy, food service or any role requiring precision and customer focus tend to translate well here. The right person is organized, personable, tech-comfortable and ready to be a real contributor on a close team.
Detail orientation is non-negotiable — this role touches compliance documents, legal sale paperwork and live shared files where accuracy matters
Strong written communication skills; the majority of this role is email-based
Comfortable with basic computer skills: keyboard shortcuts, file management, basic Excel navigation and collaborative spreadsheet work
Customer service experience — any industry considered
Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing team member
High energy, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Personable and team-oriented; the team is communicative and collaborative by nature, and culture fit matters here
