The Opportunity
An exciting new international vehicle brand is building its presence in South Africa, and its newly opened dealership in Edenvale is appointing Vehicle Sales Executives to its founding sales team. This is a ground-floor opportunity. You'll help establish a new brand in the market, build a customer base from the start, and grow with the dealership as the brand gains traction.
Scope of the Role
The Vehicle Sales Executive manages the full sales cycle, from prospecting and first contact through to deal structuring, handover and after-sales follow-up. The focus is on generating leads, turning enquiries into sales, and building lasting customer relationships that bring in repeat and referral business.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect for new customers through walk-ins, telephone and digital leads, referrals, and your own network
Build confidence in a new brand through strong product knowledge, demonstrations and test drives
Assess customer needs and match them to the right vehicle and finance solution
Structure deals, handle trade-in valuations, and work closely with the F&I department
Achieve monthly unit and gross profit targets
Keep all customer interactions, leads and follow-ups up to date on the CRM/DMS
Complete deal documentation accurately and in line with FICA and NCA requirements
Manage vehicle deliveries so every handover is professional and memorable
Follow up after delivery to build loyalty and generate referrals
Represent the brand at showroom events, launches and activations
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
2–3 years' vehicle sales experience in a franchised dealership
A proven track record of meeting sales targets
Valid Code B (EB) driver's licence and own reliable transport
Living on the East Rand or within easy commuting distance of Edenvale
Willing to work weekends and public holidays in line with dealership trading hours
Clear criminal and credit record
Advantageous
Experience selling a newly launched vehicle brand
Experience with new-energy vehicles (hybrid or electric)
An existing customer base on the East Rand
Working knowledge of a DMS and CRM system
Fleet or corporate sales experience
