In this role, you will be instrumental in the Vehicle Development Division, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer (CE) to ensure vehicle programs are delivered on-time, within budget, and to quality targets.
- Act as the central integration point between module teams (Chassis, BIW, Exterior, Interior, Electrical, etc.), ensuring that design interfaces, performance targets, and packaging requirements are aligned.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional resolution of integration issues across systems and components.
- Serve as the technical liaison between VinFast and UK-based ESPs, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
- Support and represent the CE in internal and external meetings, driving technical decisions and alignment.
- Collaborate with PMO and engineering teams to track project milestones, escalate risks, and implement mitigation plans.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and downstream departments to ensure end-to-end compatibility and manufacturability of the vehicle design.
- Support vehicle validation and launch activities, resolving cross-system issues and ensuring technical readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in vehicle development, with deep understanding of vehicle integration and system interfaces.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of the vehicle development lifecycle and associated engineering milestones.
- Proven technical expertise in at least one vehicle domain (e.g., Chassis, E&E, BIW, Interior, Exterior).
- Familiarity with tooling and production processes relevant to automotive systems.
- Solid understanding of safety-critical components and legal compliance requirements.
- High proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts to engineers, managers, and executives.
- Competent in CAD systems, engineering documentation, and test procedures.
- Proficient with MS Office and engineering collaboration tools (e.g., PLM, project tracking software).
