Manager, Account Management
Overview
This role supports the management of Mastercard's strategic relationships with assigned Financial Institution (FI) clients, contributing to the delivery of sustainable growth and long-term partnership value. The Manager will work closely with clients and internal teams to execute joint initiatives, strengthen segment penetration, and support revenue growth objectives.
Role
- Support the day-to-day management of assigned FI client relationships, ensuring consistent delivery against business objectives
- Contribute to the development and execution of joint business plans, with a focus on driving revenue and market share growth
- Identify and support new business opportunities across key segments, including consumer, SME, and commercial payments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, consulting, and technology) to implement client initiatives and solutions
- Apply data and insights to support client discussions, performance tracking, and opportunity identification
- Assist in preparing commercial proposals and supporting negotiations with clients
- Monitor performance metrics, pipeline progress, and key deliverables, ensuring timely execution
- Support stakeholder engagement by preparing materials and contributing to client meetings
All About You
- Experience in the payments or financial services industry, with a foundational understanding of card and digital payments
- Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams and contribute to client-facing initiatives
- Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially aware, with a structured and analytical approach to problem solving
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Collaborative team player with experience working across functions to deliver outcomes
- Comfortable working with data to generate insights and support decision-making
- Experience in banking, fintech, payments, strategy, product, or consulting roles is an advantage
