In this role, you will be instrumental in the Attributes Department, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.
- Lead and execute attribute-specific testing (vehicle dynamics and drivability) activities, including vehicle preparation, instrumentation setup, data acquisition, and detailed result analysis
- Collaborate closely with Attribute Managers to define, achieve, and validate performance targets
- Conduct in-depth analyses of test data to identify root causes and propose practical, effective solutions for attribute improvement
- Support the development and refinement of attribute testing procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of outcomes
- Prepare detailed technical reports and provide actionable insights to attribute management and cross-functional teams
- Continuously remain informed about industry best practices, new methodologies, and technological advancements relevant to the specialized attribute area
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive attribute development and testing (Any of NVH, Durability, Vehicle Dynamics, PED, Thermal, HVAC, Safety, Electrical)
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing). Proficiency in Vietnamese is advantageous
- Hands-on experience in vehicle attribute tuning, testing, analysis, and optimization
- Proficiency with attribute-specific instrumentation and sensor setups (e.g., accelerometer, microphones, thermal sensors, strain gauges, data acquisition systems)
- Skilled in performing and coordinating standard attribute-specific testing processes (road tests, rig tests, laboratory tests, environmental chamber tests)
- Familiarity with attribute-related analytical tools and software relevant to the specialized area
- Demonstrated ability to closely collaborate with attribute managers and cross-functional teams to effectively implement improvements
- Proficient in interpreting test data, performing root-cause analysis, and clearly communicating findings and recommendations
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (DFMEA, DVP, 8D, 5Y, DFSS, FTA, Fish Bone)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, hands-on, and collaborative environment
- Strong proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies (DFMEA, DVP, 8D, 5Y, DFSS, FTA, Fish Bone)
