As a User Experience Lead on the User Experience team, a typical day for you will include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop UX designers. Train and mentor junior staff in best practices of user experience design. Provide guidance, training, and motivation.
- Knowledge of accessibility-related guidelines and standards including ADA, WCAG, CCPA, Section 508, a good understanding of accessibility and usability for disabled people, and experience with devices and building accessible digital products.
- Develop Neighborly’ s design pattern library. Create and maintain UX/UI style guidelines to ensure consistency in all Neighborly digital interactions.
- Work with the Digital Product Director to drive UX strategy, design process, and align team objectives with strategic initiatives.
- Research to incorporate market analyses, data-driven insights and user research findings to inform design decisions. Develop understanding of Neighborly’ s customer needs and competitors through UX research and exploration.

(Required qualifications)
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of successfully leading multi-disciplinary UX teams.
- 5+ years of user experience design for web, mobile, virtual assistant applications.
- 5+ years wireframing/prototyping experience with tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of user experience best practices.
- Experience implementing and executing Agile principles within digital-focused product teams and knowledge of typical development practices.
- Experience in effectively presenting design concepts to colleagues, partners, stakeholders and executives.
- Ability to interpret data exposed through analytics and optimization/testing solutions.
- Education:
- Undergraduate degree in design/user experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of training and experience in a design/creative discipline.
- Schedule / in-office requirements:
- Hybrid working model. Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
