Core Responsibilities:

Design Execution

  • Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma
  • Maintain and expand our AI-focused design system components
  • Design micro-interactions and animations that make AI feel approachable and trustworthy
  • Produce design assets and specifications for engineering handoff
  • Assist in creating wireframes and prototypes for AI-powered features.
  • Help design UI components for Agentic AI features 
  • Support the development of UX flows


User Research & Testing

  • Assist in conducting user research to understand how people interact with AI systems
  • Help organize and analyze usability testing sessions for AI features
  • Document user feedback about AI agent interactions and trust levels
  • Create journey maps showing how users and AI agents collaborate

Learning & Development

  • Actively learn about AI/ML concepts and their impact on user experience
  • Experiment with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) to enhance design workflow
  • Stay updated on AI UX trends and best practices through courses and communities
  • Participate in design sprints focused on AI-human interaction challenges

Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior designers to understand AI design principles
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to learn about technical capabilities and constraints
  • Support product managers in defining AI feature requirements
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to represent design perspective
Qualifications:

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Psychology, or related field
  • 1-3 years of UX/UI design experience (internships and academic projects count)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Academic or personal projects involving Agentic AI/Automation workflows/chatbots/conversational design are a plus.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Figma (required) and prompt based AI Design Tools
  • Basic understanding of design systems and component libraries
  • Ability to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes
  • Familiarity with design handoff and collaboration tools

AI & Technology Interest:

  • Demonstrated curiosity about AI and its applications (through projects, courses, or self-learning)
  • Basic understanding of how Agentic AI work
  • Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Midjourney (personal use counts)
  • Willingness to learn about machine learning concepts and limitations

Process Knowledge:

  • Proven track record conducting user research, usability testing, and implementing data-informed design decisions
  • Experience building and optimizing complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces
  • Strong ability to map information architecture and user flows for enterprise-level applications
  • Portfolio showcasing thoughtful end-to-end design processes and solutions

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
  • Skilled at communicating UX decisions and best practices through written, verbal, and visual methods
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
