Develop Big Data applications using Scala-Spark on Azure Databricks. Design and build the best of class resilient solutions using universally accepted programming practices. Deliver solid production level code with minimal bugs and great code quality. Write unit tests to test your code. Debug production issues and provide fixes. Monitor implemented solutions to ensure system and cost performance. Collaborate with other developers in the team and product managers on daily basis to identify the right technical solutions that achieve product goals. The salary range is $126,814 - $159,845 per year. #LI-DNI
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Spark Framework and Architecture; Developing applications using Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Spark; Using Scala or Python; Using Agile methodology for product development; and Using Spark SQL.
Telecommuting permitted 5 days a week.
