We are looking for a passionate Backend Engineer to develop and deliver end-user facing features for our app - which is a travel companion app, that goes with the traveler. You will work closely with a set of talented engineers, product managers and designers to identify customer needs and build innovative solutions to solve them. You will analyze and optimize UI for quality, efficiency and performance. Ideally, you will quickly ramp up on the existing features and you’ll be responsible for shipping the features into production. You will be part of a team developing the core APIs and backend infrastructure supporting our web and mobile products.

 

What You'll Do:

We’re looking for strong engineers who can design/architect and build API endpoints and services to support those APIs and build backend processes. You should be able to understand domain object modeling, be familiar with ORM technologies, and understand the different trade-offs one has to make when building applications that scale.

You will get the opportunity to build innovative features that will significantly enhance the booking and travel user experience

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
