Strategic Risk Solutions Inc. (SRS), the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join Elevate – our division that administers Workers Compensation coverage solutions.Responsibilities and Duties
- Review of current insured submission material for accuracy and completion
- Input data from insurance submissions into internal model
- Verify and ensure data input is accurate and timely during the file preparation and uploading of documents
- Identify any discrepancies or missing information and report them to the proper individuals
- Interact, answer questions, and respond to requests from insurance broker partners
- Prepare quotes and proposals
- General support to program manager / salesperson
- Ensures adherence to company policies, guidelines, industry regulations, and compliance standards
Attributes and Skills
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Knowledge of Insurance industry a plus
- Ability to work well in teams and comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to write professional correspondence
- Attention to detail and analytical skills are a must
