We are on the lookout for dynamic, open-minded, and very creative individuals to join us as Trainee UX designers. As a Trainee UX Designer, you contribute to the user experience of the IFS Cloud, the most recent IFS product. 

This includes   

• collaborating with product managers, UX designers and development teams to gather and evaluate business requirements and user needs  

• creating user flows, wireframes, and other related design artefacts  

• designing clickable prototypes using the IFS Design System and by following industry-best interaction design patterns  

• mapping and understanding of the user journeys and technical limitations  

• taking part in user research activities to understand user behaviors, challenges, and motivations 

• validating the product designs and concepts using methods such as usability testing or heuristic evaluations  

• applying and promoting design thinking  

• educating, inspiring, and motivating product teams and stakeholders through engaging presentations. 

All this is to create usable, enjoyable, fit-for-purpose, and enterprise-grade software.

You are a problem solver with genuine empathy for the users. You are proficient in collaborative interface designing/prototyping software (e.g., FijJam, Figma). You are aware of current trends and have a solid understanding of design principles (e.g., information hierarchy, usability principles, layout, typography, color).  

You will be part of a great team on its journey towards excellent UX. We hope you are a good team player who can navigate your way with other stakeholders and have a solid understanding of the design process as a whole. We encourage curiosity and critical thinking.  

You are currently enrolled in a university program related to UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or any other relevant field.  

It is not a requirement, but you’ll stand out from the crowd if you have experience from   

• enterprise software solutions area  

• agile teams and software development  

• working in a virtual and multicultural environment 

• any personal, academic, or freelance experience related to UX or digital product design.
