Job Description SummaryWe are looking for an Applications & Sales Specialist to join our Ultrasound team in Sweden.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager Sweden and working closely with the Nordic and European Ultrasound teams, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our Ultrasound business across Sweden. The role combines clinical expertise, customer education, product demonstrations, and commercial support to help healthcare providers deliver excellent patient care through world-class ultrasound technology.
This position is ideal for an experienced ultrasound professional who is passionate about education, technology, and customer engagement. Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential. We welcome candidates with strong clinical ultrasound backgrounds who are interested in developing a commercial career within the medical technology industry.
The successful candidate can be based anywhere in Sweden. This is a remote field-based role requiring regular travel across the country.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Support achievement of territory sales targets through clinical expertise, customer engagement, and opportunity development.

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and clinical presentations to prospective customers.

  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with the Sales team to develop and progress business opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with clinicians, department leaders, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.

  • Provide clinical and technical expertise throughout the sales process.

  • Support customer evaluations, product trials, and purchasing decisions.

  • Deliver product installations, onboarding, and application training programs.

  • Support tender activities, including requirements discussions, clinical evaluations, and proposal preparation.

  • Develop and execute customer education activities that strengthen customer loyalty and product utilization.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and work proactively to support retention and account growth.

  • Represent the company at congresses, workshops, training events, and industry meetings.

  • Maintain awareness of market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer requirements.

  • Provide regular feedback to internal stakeholders on customer needs, market trends, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Science, Clinical Physiology, Sonography, Radiography, Healthcare, or a related field.

  • Strong clinical ultrasound experience gained within a hospital, imaging centre, or healthcare environment.

  • Demonstrated hands-on scanning expertise and understanding of ultrasound workflows.

  • Customer-focused mindset with an interest in commercial activities and business development.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Good understanding of healthcare processes and purchasing environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across Sweden.

  • Fluency in Swedish and English.

Preferred

  • Experience within General Imaging Ultrasound.

  • Previous experience delivering clinical training or education.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as Applications Specialist, Clinical Specialist, Product Specialist, or Sales Specialist.

  • Exposure to healthcare procurement processes and public tenders.

  • Commercial experience within MedTech is advantageous but not essential.

  • Established network within the Swedish ultrasound community is beneficial.
