As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will:
- Design and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Pytest & Playwright, tailored for Fortinet’s cloud-based (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments.
- Lead the development of robust, scalable test automation infrastructure, ensuring high coverage and fast feedback cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, DevOps, and QA) to define, review, and validate quality requirements across the development lifecycle.
- Design and execute test plans, test suites, and scripts to validate functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
- Build and optimize load and performance testing frameworks to ensure our products meet enterprise-grade standards.
- Implement monitoring and observability for test and production environments using Grafana, DataDog, or similar tools.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation efficiency, and CI/CD integrations to accelerate delivery and maintain quality.
- Analyze and report quality metrics, test results, and defects, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and help establish best practices in automation and quality engineering.
We Are Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer in both frontend and backend, including test infrastructure design and automation framework development.
- Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools for UI and integration testing.
- Experience with Python & Pytest in automation and quality assurance contexts.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven experience developing and maintaining large-scale automation systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, API, performance, and scalability).
- Hands-on experience with API testing, web automation, and performance tools (JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/UDP, routing) and cybersecurity concepts (VPNs, firewalls).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Fluent English – reading and writing.
