What you can expect as a UAT Coordinator:
- Consolidate and document Production deliverables, defect management and reporting.
- Independently and proactively manage, assess, prioritize, follow up on and help bring to closure issues impacting UAT efforts.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with Business partners, Technology and Release Coordinator, and Development teams to help address issues, plan and synchronize testing activities, and monitor and report progress.
- Coordinate testing activities between multiple onsite/offsite teams in addition to tracking and monitoring team progress to ensure proper coverage and progress.
- Ensure that all necessary test data and prerequisites are accounted for and fulfilled for all environments.
- Responsible for providing final UAT signoff after aggregating from all teams involved.
- Produce daily execution reports in a timely manner to communicate Release/Project health and consolidate issues/resolution plans from Test leads.
- Presenting UAT status updates to management with appropriate level detail and completion plans.
- Regularly monitor testing progress and timely escalation of issues jeopardizing the deliverables.
- Run status and other readiness meetings to bring all stakeholders on the same page and communicate out plan/changes as and when required.
- Manage and maintain a repository of Testing artifacts.
- Continuous critical analysis of processes and procedures to bring efficiency and increase productivity.
What we are looking for as a UAT Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Demonstrated excellence in leadership and ability to create collaborative, productive teams
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
- 3–5 years of experience in QA, UAT coordination, or Test Management.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with QA/test tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Knowledge of code versioning systems (e.g., Git), and an understanding of the code merge lifecycle and its impact on test and release processes.
- Comfortable coordinating with DevOps, developers, and release managers regarding builds, merges, branching strategies, and release packaging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in JIRA, eazyBI Bit Bucket and, Confluence
