Treasury Manager

This role is about: 

As a Treasury Manager at payabl., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the company’s cashflows and financial processes. You will oversee multi-currency operations, reconciliations, and safeguard client funds in compliance with established policies. This role demands precision, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, directly supporting the Head of Treasury.

You will: 

• Ensure accuracy in currency conversions, adhering to settlement requirements.
• Monitor and manage multi-currency positions, maintaining precision throughout the process.
• Assist in reconciliations, ensuring alignment across accounting, back-office, and banking systems for accurate transaction reflection. – internal controls.
• Oversee daily cashflows, ensuring they meet the company's financial requirements and objectives.
• Verify the accuracy and timely execution of client exchange orders.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures for safeguarding and managing client funds.
• Provide support for additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Treasury

What we need:

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in treasury or finance, preferably within Payment Services Institutions or Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs).
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex financial models, analyze data, and produce detailed reports.
• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline. Certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or CFA are a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to identify and correct numerical discrepancies or procedural errors.
• Organizational Abilities: Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive problem-solver who can anticipate challenges and implement efficient solutions.
• Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Resilience under pressure, with the ability to maintain high accuracy and performance in dynamic and challenging situations.
• Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide support to senior management as required.

🚀 Hiring Process:

1️⃣First Interview: Conducted by the Talent Acquisition team (30-40 min).

2️⃣Second Interview: 1-hour deep-dive with the hiring manager of the role.

3️⃣Final Behavioral Interview: Focused team fit, with participation from the Head of Talent Acquisition and the Hiring Manager (1-1.5hours).
