SUMMARY

The Treasury Management Sales Officer Lead is responsible for leading a team that will generate fee income by providing skilled and knowledgeable assistance to clients seeking or needing treasury management solutions.  

The Treasury Management Sales Officer Lead works closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to assist with the Treasury Management Sales team.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complies with, and stays abreast of, all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job. 
  • Monitors sales actuals to plan; identifies underperforming sales officers and assists with plan to achieve team objectives; conducts weekly team sales meetings and product training; trains new sales officers; coaches sales officers when needed. 
  • Reviews, analyzes and understands clients’ treasury management needs and conducts demonstrations as needed.  Completes presentations and accurate pro formas designed to educate the client of all appropriate treasury management solutions.
  • Educates and sells services to clients within assigned territories by utilizing extensive knowledge of all treasury management products and services.
  • Assists Treasury Management Sales Officer with more complex sales when needed. 
  • Effectively manages support of clients and business units within assigned territory by maintaining calling schedules and completing pre-planning tasks as needed.
  • Provides support as needed to all treasury management clients and prospective clients.  
  • Submits appropriate documentation to identify client needs to all involved in the implementation process.
  • Conducts regular training for non-treasury management personnel within the assigned territory to recognize treasury management opportunities.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert and point of contact for all treasury management opportunities for the Bank’s clients.  Upsells and documents additional products as appropriate.
  • Partners with risk managers and lenders to identify the risks associated with all treasury management products and services; ensures that all identified risks are mitigated. 
  • Adhere to bank service level agreements, policies and regulations.
  • Provide, present, and promote the Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has supervisory responsibilities.  The role of the Treasury Management Sales Lead will be to focus on leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of Treasury Management Sales Officers to meet and exceed performance targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold service quality standards.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.   Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Excel Spreadsheet software Word Processing software.

This position may require the incumbent to travel to various customer sites approximately 75% of the time.  While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Salary Range:$87,612.00 To $124,846.00 Annually


Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location.  This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
