We are looking for a motivated Treasury Intern to help us improve how we track, analyze, and report FX exposure. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a clearly scoped, high-impact project that combines financial analysis, data structuring, and automation.
The team
You will be part of our Treasury team based in Amsterdam, working in a collaborative and international environment. You will interact with teams such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Legal, gaining exposure to cross-functional finance operations.
What you will do
During this internship, you will work closely with our Treasury team and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and beyond. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and documenting data sources used to measure FX exposure across the organization
- Designing a standardized FX exposure framework, including definitions, assumptions, and key metrics
- Building an automated reporting solution to monitor FX exposure on a recurring basis
- Quantifying the impact of FX movements on key financial metrics, including revenue, EBITDA, net income, balance sheet, equity value, cash flow, and liquidity
- Translating analysis into clear, management-ready dashboards and reports
- (Optional) Supporting basic hedge scenario analysis comparing hedged versus unhedged outcomes
What you will deliver
By the end of your internship, you will have:
- A documented mapping of FX-related data sources across the organization
- A standardized and structured FX exposure framework
- An automated reporting tool usable by Treasury with minimal manual intervention
- A management-ready dashboard providing clear visibility into FX exposure and financial impact
Who are you?
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Economics, Business, or Data Analytics
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Good understanding of financial statements and cash flow dynamics
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, AI and PowerPoint is a plus
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Due to the fact the full treasury team is in Amsterdam, we would encourage you to be 4 to 5 days in the office per week.
