Whether you have prior experience in Treasury duties or are eager to start your career in this field, this role offers a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

You’ll be joining our dynamic Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) team as a Treasury Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations across Europe, US & Canada. Working within the framework of our Company and Group accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, you'll be responsible for processing and monitoring various financial activities, including bank uploads, clearing accounts management, and balance sheet reconciliations.

This position demands a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both team members and external stakeholders. As the main contact for bank and current account-related issues, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, making a significant impact on our company's success.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the Treasury Mailbox to resolve queries, process credit notes, and customer refunds.

  • Confirm current account balances with Treasury counterparts.

  • Serve as the main contact for bank-related inquiries and changes, including updating and maintaining bank mandates.

  • Upload bank statement transactions into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Monitor and reconcile clearing accounts, resolving discrepancies with the Global Treasury Team.

  • Act as a backup for Payment Run Approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and liaising with AP and other stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.

  • Conduct regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigate and resolve variances, and prepare reconciliation reports.

  • Assist in producing information for short-term cash flow forecasting and reporting, working with the Treasury team to optimize cash management strategies.

Other duties include:

  • Input data for Key Performance Indicators related to Treasury activities.

  • Provide information to external auditors as requested.

  • Undertake problem-solving in relevant areas.

  • Follow and encourage adherence to set procedures and processes.

  • Perform ad hoc work and cover other FSSC processes as needed.

GMP / EHS requirements:

  • Adhere to current GMP requirements for sterile medicinal products.

  • Report compliance concerns to the line manager or Quality Assurance Compliance team.

  • Work safely and raise Health and Safety concerns to the line manager or EHS team.

  • Ensure all training is up to date and documented, and do not perform tasks without proper training.

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Professional attitude and fully appreciative of the confidentiality

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred requirements:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or Treasury duties, preferably using SAP

  • Proficient user of MS word and Excel

  • Knowledge of banking procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Any European language would be an asset
