As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic Treasury Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Treasury
- Monitor daily bank balances and prepare cash-position reports.
- Maintain short- and medium-term cash-flow forecasts.
- Prepare supplier, salary, tax, and other payments for approval.
- Ensure payments are supported by appropriate documentation and authorisation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and promptly investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of banking transactions, facilities, loans, deposits, and related charges.
- Coordinate with banks regarding transfers, account administration, foreign-exchange transactions, and banking queries.
- Monitor upcoming financial obligations to ensure sufficient funds are available.
- Assist with the management of working capital and foreign-currency exposure.
- Prepare treasury schedules and reports for management and auditors.
- Maintain effective controls over online banking access and payment processes.
- Supporting documentation when required.
Controls and Compliance
- Follow the company’s approval limits and segregation-of-duties procedures.
- Ensure the person preparing payments does not independently approve or release them.
- Maintain complete and organised records for all treasury transactions.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify process weaknesses and recommend practical improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in treasury, accounting, or a similar finance role.
- Experience using accounting and online banking systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet strict payroll and payment deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with Finance, banks, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage several priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
